Hmmm. I have been using the Bare Minerals starter powder kit, in Fairly Light, and I def. prefer the original over the matte, which seems to have too much yellow tone for me. I am one of those skin types that's hard to guess, I have both the reddish and yellow pigments, freckles and usually a natural light to medium shade is what I prefer. I am watching but wonder if it would be too golden based for me? I haven't found one that I love yet.

if you are trying to find a good foundation for the undertone you have (I have the same yellow and pinkish undertone as you) try Urban Decay Naked foundation in shade 2.0. it was a perfect match for me. if you're fairly light toned, this may not only be too yellow, but also to dark. it's more for medium skin tones. I hope this helps.

what type of undertone do you have ? the gold is like a yellowish undertone.

this make up is worth it, I say if you don't win to go to sephora and try to find your shade. it's a brilliant formula. mine lasts all day long, it's amazing and has very decent coverage for the consistency it has.

your considered a neutral undertone then, so when looking for a foundation in sephora, tell the ladies you want a neutral foundation to match your unique undertones.

I use Estee Lauder, I've never tried bare minerals. This is a great auction. Would like to try it. All your auctions are awesome. You're aleays a sweetheart.

the bareMinerals is a lighter coverage than the estee lauder double wear. way lighter and thinner.
it's ideal for summer because it's light. it does cover imperfections and other things because it is very pigmented. just a light weight formula.

this juice beauty foundation is also lighter, it is velvety in texture and has light/medium coverage.

usually, I only wear light/medium coverage foundations because I have dry skin, and they work best for me.
