The listing, 13+ Pounds of Beach Glass! Different colors, shapes and sizes! has ended.
So, once upon a time I wanted to make a beach glass mosaic. Seeing that this is up here, we all know how far I got. So now you can make out with it!
Anyways, this is beach glass mostly from Lake Michigan, all picked up by hand over a period of years. A couple pieces of it may be from the Atlantic ocean, Pacific ocean, or the Aegean Sea, but mostly Lake Michigan.
Beach glass or sea glass are broken shards of glass that are polished by wave actions and sand. They're like little sea gems or jewels and look wonderful! They're usually frosted and sometimes deformed by the polishing. As folks switch to plastic bottles, there is less and less beach glass to be found.
As with anything found, this lot is made up of all different sizes, colors, and qualities of beach glass. Beach glass is usually clear, brown, or green. Plus different tones of each one. I think that there's also a couple of blue ones and might be some others too.
Honestly, it's a lot of beach glass. This should be enough for your own mosaic, jewelry, or whatever crafts you wish to do. There are small pieces great for earrings, medium pieces for bracelets, to larger pieces that might be great for the stone on a necklace.
This is a padded priority envelope stuffed full of beach glass. More than 13 pounds worth. And I'm picking up the shipping, so it's free to you!
