Description

The listing, 3 Vintage / Antique Bottles Circa 1800s has ended.

you are bidding on 3 ANTIQUE/VINTAGE BOTTLES FROM THE 1800s. these were found in the eaves of an 200 yr. old barn that I demo'd. I will describe each bottle and provide a link for more info. I am not a glass bottle connoisseur, therefor I don't know much about them, or the hobby. please see photos for more details. GIN offers considered.
please keep in mind that this will cost me at least $12.95 in postage fees. i was going to charge shipping at first, but have decided to cover the cost and pay the shipping charges myself. therefor I need to start the auction at a higher opening bid. thanx and good luck bidding

#1 Dr. Seth Arnold Balsam medicine bottle. bottle is 4" tall and a 2 part mold. aqua glass, has a greenish bluish tint to the glass.circa 1870-1900. http://www.littlerhodybottleclub.org/research/arnoldseth.html

#2 established 1851-W.H. Jones and Co. Importers-Hanover and blackstone STS-Boston, Mass. bottle is 10 1/2" high, 4" wide. bottle is clear glass, 2 piece mold and dated 1907 on the bottom. has the trademark of a bear emblem on it. U shaped crack on lip.(see last photo)

#3 10" tall green, glass bottle. no mold lines, so hand blown. has sheared top with applied lip and a very deep, indented bottom. circa 1740s-1800s.has numerous "tears" bubbles, which is a good indication of its old age. there are no markings of any kind, but most likely for wine.

How about 12,000 GIN free shipping?

I appreciate your offer, but I have to refuse. after the 50 credit fee for adding a GIN and the 10% listia takes of the final Gin price, I am left with under 11k. plus, shipping in a flat rate box will cost me $12.95.I think I may let this one run the course.

11,750, to be exact. I think I would be happy around the25k area. I may be kicking myself in the arse right now, but I hope not.
