The listing, Boy Scout Pin - "Arrow of Light" has ended.

I guess this was "leftover" from when my son was younger. He's driving now, and in ROTC and on the wrestling team, so I really don't remember a lot of the details about the pin from when he was young, or what he did to "earn" it.

It is a rectangular goldtone tack pin, about 3/4" long by 1/4" wide. It is still in excellent shape, very shiny and looks brand new. It is a beautiful piece of jewelry and I thought some collector out there might like to add it to their collection.

It's actualy as you said an arrow of light pin. The Arrow of Light is the highest award atainable in Cub Scouts. The O.A. (oder of the arrow) is an orginization based on friendly service wich you can be voted into by your fellow scouts after you've achieved the rank of first class ( you also have to be a Boy Scout). And yes they do starve you and make you sleep outside when you are becoming enitiated in the O.A. ( they still have the same concept as they did back then)
