This auction is for a REPRODUCTION of the famous Morgan 100 cent Goloid dollar coin. I found this coin, along with a few others, in a pawn shop, and thought they were too cool to pass up. This coin is the exact same size and just about the same weight as the real coin, I had to really look hard at it to tell it was a reproduction and not the real thing!! This is a THICK and HEAVY piece!! This is a great educational tool since the real thing is expensive and hard to come by. The date imprinted on the coin is 1879, but I am not sure of the actual date of manufacture.
