The listing, Civil War Era Knife & Fork Set Table Ware has ended.

I have had these for a while and have desided to see if there are any collectors out there. This is a knife and fork set from the civil war era that are in really nice condition for being over a hundred years old. They have wood handles with metal inlays on the ends. the knife is 9" long and the fork is 7 1/2" long

How do you know they are from the civil war time?

I did some research on the design and material. The real give away is the three prong fork. The design dates it around 1860 to 1880

Hi, does it have any kind of markings that show what civil war infantry ect. it might have come from, It would help if you clearly state that this from the civil war or any papers, or maybe where you found it, thank you very much.

Hi, No I could not find any markings. In my research I found that few were marked, only the big manufacturers.
