Be sure your board will handle A 775 quad some will some wont I Have 3 IBM with dual cores in them 1 will handle the quad quiet well the other 2 wont and really the type of DDR whether 2 or 3 doesnt matter its in the bios settings so bid accordingly

are you 100 percent sure that this processor is good? and, how long was it used in the computer?

I am not making any 100 percent guarantee because things happen, example mail main drops the package, it is put in the wrong motherboard etc. I think you get the picture, but it was working when it was taking out of the computer. I was in an xp computer and was just now taken out so it ran the computer for quite some time. As you see my feedback is 100% so I am honest about my items.
