Luffa gourds used to be called dishrag gourds because they make such amazing dishrags! I use one all the time. They scour gently, and are good when you need a little extra help with a bit of stuck on food, are excellent for cleaning cast iron, and are great for general dish cleaning. When they get soiled, you can run them through the dishwasher to sanitize them. I do this all the time, and it survives intact. I have never done so, but I assume you could microwave them for a few minutes with the same result. These seeds come from my own completely organic garden. I use no pesticides or chemicals of any kind. I will give you some luffa growing tips, as well as instructions for saving seed. These seeds ship free!
