James Hougbland (Charles Hill Malles) has just invented a new method for sending television signals anywhere in the world instanttaneously. His invention has gotten the interest of all the major television companies, but Hougbland refuses to sell the process to the companies.

On the night of Hougbland's first broadcast, he is mysteriously murdered during his demonstration. Now, Police Chief Nelson (Henry Mowbray) must identify the killer from the many suspects presents present at the time of the broadcast.
