The listing, Antique Pocket Watch - Case Only has ended.
I found this in a field after a tornado.
It's the case of an old pocket watch. Not much is known about other than the inscriptions on the inside.
Fahys-Oresilver-No1-Pat Feb 19th 1884
With what appears to be a serial number: 4976508
Some people say it's worth it's weight in silver, but I don't know if it's real silver or what they call "German silver" (nickel silver). It's between 1 and 1.5oz total weight.
The case comes apart into 3 pieces. The ring on the top is not attached solidly to the case, it comes off. Not sure if this is how it's suppose to be, or if it's broken.
This is sold as is with no guarantees. I wish I knew more about it, but I'll answer any questions as best as I can.
