There are 27 items... and I am counting the brown pencils rubber banded together as one, but the erasers are hard and probably unusable. All the pens and markers in the packages are brand new but they have been in storage forever so I can not guarantee that they all work and are in perfect shape but they packages have not been opened so they are probably a very good chance that they are operable. The scissors are used but in good shape and the staple removers are brand new and the pack of erasers are new but the package was opened..... tape good and new. Just a large package of good supplies.
