Okay, so these are for pierced ears. The back piece opens and then securely snaps closed to keep them safe on your ears.

I bought them from a jewelry case in a thrift store a few years ago, to wear with a new shirt. I thought the blue pearly things were pretty and unique, and they are! I wore them several times but not enough to keep them around anymore. Besides, I like listing stuff on here.

The wires are probably sterling, but I don't see a mark. The faux blue pearls appear to be a tough enamel creation. They are not cheap whatever the method. There is no chipping or flaking going on and they have held up very well, being bounced around in my jewelry bowl for a few years. They have no scratches or damage whatsoever.

On a scale of 1-10 pawnshop value, I rate them at a 0.
On a scale of 1-10 quality and beauty, I rate them at a 10.

They are a nice pair of casual earrings, you'll look nice in them and get compliments! I did!
