again, it is CAT-5e. if you look at http://help.expedient.com/broadband/img/westell%202100/westell%202100%20rear%20panel.gif
you will see CAT-5e connection on the right and a DSL/dialup/line-in connection on the left. Do you use RJ-45 (cable and high-speed internet.) or RJ-11(DSL and slower) to connect.
