This is a handmade pill box, created by Rhode Island artists Davin & Kesler.

The Pill Box is solid brass with a brushed silver plate and features a plastic insert. Built with a sturdy case and good latch the pill box is meant for daily use. The snap closure secures contents inside and unwanted dust and moisture out.

This item can be purchased on the artist's website (http://www.davinandkesler.com) for $43 and up. While the label shown in my photos states it's ebony, it is actually cocobolo and was apparently mislabeled.

This item is new and unused - I've just peeled the pricetag off of it.
