The listing, 10k ring has ended.

I got this at an estate auction. They sold everything in the house. I dont know anything about the ring. We payed 50 dollars for it however. It may be a real ruby I can tell its not plastic or glass but I DONT KNOW FOR SHURE. I would have taken a picture of the 10k marking but it was too small. Idk if its plated or pure. That is not the original box as this ring is deffinetly over 30 years old. Never been appraised. It coild be real or not but it is 10k. If it's plated it will probably say 10kgp or 10krg or 10kep if it's solid it will most likely just say 10k and then sometimes you will have a makers mark separate from the karat stamp. I this is a ruby it might be a lab created one its its probably been fired or heat treated... Most natural ruby stones are actually a dark pink in color... Could also be a natural garnet. If you can tell us what the stamps say exactly on the inside if the ring I'm sure this would. Get more attention and probably a bid or two ;) it's a gorgeous piece!

Wow you shure know yoyr jewelry! The only markings I see in the ring is a 10k marking. Im posative that is the only marking on the ring. Thx for the info (:
