The booklet commemorates Mark McGwire & Sammy Sosa breaking the Home Run Record in 1998. The book is "Authorized by Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association." Features player profiles for each in 1998 and a 23 KT Gold card of each is minted by The Danbury Mint. There are two cards; one each of Mark and Sammy in gold foil. These two Players will both be in the hall of fame. The two gold cards are in mint condition. The gold cards of these two future HALL OF FAMERS are in a blue booklet from The Danbury Mint and has two pages where the cards are in slots that have plastic holders, plus inside plastic protective sleeves. The book has three color pictures of each of the players, with their accomplishments and stories of their road to BREAKING THE HOME RUN RECORD.
