How Fred, Ginger, Oscar Levant, Billie Burke and others play this film is what makes the film so watchable. And the singing and dancing numbers can't be faulted.
Filmgoers in the '40s. who adored Ginger and Fred have a fine time with their 'My One and Only Highland Fling' (1949 music for sale here is complete and original), danced in kilts with Scotch accents-- and join forces for an elegant version of 'They Can't Take That Away From Me' in formal attire which -- for me at least -- was the highlight of their team effort (wearing that attire on this sheet music cover as we remember them so dressed in the 1930s-40s). Good shape -- a really gorgeous item (9X12 ) and a darling song to play on the piano.
