See that violet line running vertically between the 3rd and 4th stamp in the strip?
That makes those two stamps a "Line Pair".

The fact that they are in a strip that has more stamps which protect the perforations on the other edges of the pair is even better.
But, in a strip of 5, like this, a collector get the best situation: a line pair protected in a strip and an attached "single" possibly for mounting in an album; testing of ink or paper; and/or gauging and handling without causing any deterioration to the archival condition of the important line pair.

This is a great way to collect coil stamps, since they don't come in "Blocks".

Often these are collected as those 2 stamps with the line or in a strip[ of 6 with the line in the center.
I like 5, with the line on either side of the center stamp, so I don't have to keep more money tied up in each and can move on to gathering more examples.
