This auction is for one 42g/ 1.48oz package of clear "water beads".

However, my children and I did an "experiment" with food coloring. We use gel colors and the beads absorbed the color along with the water. When I needed to re-hydrate I didn't add any food coloring to the water and they went back to clear. Haven't had to re-hydrate the 3rd time yet, but I am assuming that they will take on the next color choices we make.

This makes the "clear" a very versatile color choice.

These things are so much fun to use. Soak in water for 4-6 hours, drain off excess water and your ready to start exploring the uses.

Water beads add style and color to any candle, silk or fresh cut flower arrangement and are perfect for events such as weddings, birthdays, graduations, etc.

These non-toxic polymers hold over 100 times their weight in water. Each package makes over 1 1/2 quarts of 1/2" decorative beads.

They are great for cut flowers, and starting "sprigs" to root. I have also started a tree seed in it and so far so good. Won't be in it long, but it stayed moist enough to sprout. (It is an ornamental and not a food bearing tree)
