The listing, Telescopic Fishing Pole Pen - Red has ended.

Not sure this would stand up to a 20-30 lb. Flathead LOL but I bet it would be fun trying it out on some Bluegill aka Bream. Maybe practice casting a lure into your wastebasket at work! As one Listian suggested, tell your boss that you need to go to the store to buy ink for your new pen, instead stop off at the local fishing hole and cast a few times.

If nothing else, the novelty of just owning one will be worth it!

Absolutely. I have only used it for panfish. Caught a 17" bass and it about flew out of my hand but the bass jumped and i lost it. It's just fun to pull out when other people are around because they wonder what the heck it is.
