Its not a router. I simple gives you more ways to connect to your network. It has nothing to do with routing or wireless... A switch is a high speed hub

Running a computer shop for 12 years, lol... I have never heard the term nat type 3 but if it takes a normal cat 5 cable (cat 5/6 say on the cable what that is most of the time)., then it should let you have 4 more ports to connect to your network. OK, sorry, I was talking computer again.

Lets try it this way. You have a power outlet with 2 plugs on your wall. Using a switch is like plugging in an extension cord with more outlets. Hope that is more English,lol
