Vintage LANE miniature cedar chest.
No key
It is in exceptionally nice condition.
Perfect for storing jewelry, letters, trinkets, and other small keepsakes.
Inside lid is engraved "Lane presented by Frager Furniture company Albany, Oregon"
This was an old furniture store, in my town, that went out of business over 40 years ago.
These were given out or sold for promotional pieces
Measures 8 7/8" x 4 7/8" x 3 1/4"
Wood finish is characterized by natural imperfections and it has a few scrapes and scratches from normal use.
Hinges are nice and tight and it closes perfectly.

In 1975 when I was a newcomer to town, these cedar boxes were included as a welcoming gift along with a bunch of other trinkets & coupons! Pretty nice. It was from the local furniture store!

I got one like this for my graduation in 1998. A tradition at my school dating at least 30 years, my mom got one in 1968. (No age comments, lol) It's a great piece to own ;)
