My 13 yr old daughter has it also. So I know 100% what u go threw its a very hard thing. But I gotta say I could not have had a sweeter kid.don't get me wrong she has her days but a sweet sweet baby.

I have a really good friend who has a daughter with non verbal autism. This mom has been struggling lately. I would like to make her something special with that Autism ribbon. I don't need that much though. Do you foresee that you may be auctioning off a lesser amount?

Lesser than 1 yard? I would never set up a auction for less than that unless it was a special auction which I can 3 diffrent things for ya I have like 6 different kinds of this. Just a little different. So I can A set up a action for 1/2 yrd , B I have hairbows already made with this or C set one up with odd end size pieces that I have left over from making them? Just let me know I will try to help trust me I know what she is going threw mine daughter is the very same.its really hard.

I love the autism awareness auctions. My son has autism and he is 4 now. It is difficult but very worth it. I think more things need to be done to raise awareness.

Yes very very true. I take my daughter to goodwill and she is used to getting a bag.and filling it up with toys and its just 3.00 for the whole bag, well I had her with me at the flea market and I got her a bag of toy cars so then she walked over to the next booth and this other ladies had a table full of toys and my daughter started adding toys to her bag not knowing the difference and I heard the woman yelling at her so I walked over and started saying I was sorry she was not really meaning to steal and I explained to the lady she SD well u should have her on a leash or not allow her out of the house I SD excuse me ? She SD well there is no way to tell the difference in what cars she took from her or the ones I had PD for so she SD I needed to leave all of them or hive her 20.00 or she would call the police I SD fine take my kids toys.and I took her and we walked off. I told my daughter we would go buy something else.well of course she started crying, That same lady SD again to me just cause ur kid is retarded doesn't mean I am just going to let u get away with stuff.u should not even bring her in public. I was to shocked to say anything. Some people just don't get it.

Not that I thought the lady should have given her the stuff but she did not need take all of her stuff ( the stuff I already PD for) and be so cruel. She was very very mean to her and acted like my kid was going to give her something. Its just nuts how some people act. No understanding at all if only she new our daily struggles I don't understand how someone can be so cruel and mean to any kid.
