I'm so sorry I just ask my son was he sure these controllers were battery operated and he said "no the xbox controller is battery operated not the PS 3" OK so I don't know anything about games or the tools which young people use for them:) I will post the pictures anyway.

OOps Sorry my son states that when he told me battery operated he meant the xbox controller. Therefore PS 3 controllers are not battery operated. OK I don't know anything about this stuff:):) at all! he also said they were costly. Now I can see why so many inquiries. Good luck
