Create and erupt a volcano with gooey glowing lava. The Smithsonian Volcano provides children with the opportunity to understand the characteristics of a volcano by actually building one. Stretching string from the edges of the base to the eruption tube gives the volcano an authentic shape. Plaster strips form the exterior of the Giant Volcano, and the set of paints complete the look.
