My photos aren't very good..Box says that it sews silk,denim,wool, and leather.
And I'm sure cotton, and many other fabrics. Box lists these extras-- 3 color bobbins -replacement needles-needle threader-thread spindle.,,,Needs 4AA batteries (not incl.)....Great for crafts !!!!

I understand not having batteries included, but if it uses electricity, is there no power cord that comes with it?

No -- the box says you must purchase cord separately--sorry !

I have a small sewing machine that operates on batteries and electric. But I had to buy the cord. Got it at Radio shack, not expensive.
