gold-filled is not solid gold, but is better than gold-plated. my supplier labeled it 14kt gold-filled, but I don't see a stamp on it that confirms that.

Hypoallergenic?

I can't guarantee that the chain is hypoallergenic. the links are not solid gold, but the gold-filled design makes the gold very thick over the base metal. so, there shouldn't be a problem.

Do you know what the base metal is made of? I only ask because I am allergic to nickel and I really want to bid on this but not before I know it isn't nickel
