I am in Knox, IN. I am about an hour southwest of South Bend. We make runs over your way quite a bit too. One way or the other we can get them to you if you win the auction.
Parcel post would be $5.38 and Priority for medium flat rate box would be $10.95. (I toss in the delivery confirmation if you use parcel post.) Thanks for the inquiry!
Ok everyone, I had this asked of me earlier tonight if I had ANY more yarn that I did not have up for auction. The answer to that is YES. But only 5 maybe 6 skeins each one is different (I think) and some are of baby colors.
I picked all of this yarn up on Freecycle back last year when I got into a "I am going to learn how to crochet phase.) Since then I managed to learn how to crochet a skull cap but that was it. So much for crocheting an afghan. lol Anyway, so whomever wins this auction IF YOU WANT, I will be glad to toss in the extra skeins. IF YOU DON'T WANT THEM.. I will go down the list to the next person in line on the bidding and give it to them. All they would have to do is pay the parcel post shipping fee through PAYPAL. Which reminds me... I ONLY ACCEPT PAYPAL.
Hi, I asked because I'll never have enough points to win this and was hoping that you would have another auction--maybe by then I'll have some more points and/or the batch will go for less, especially if it is a combination of different yarns. Thanks for letting us all know, but I vote for a separate auction for obvious reasons. :-)
Understood and yes, in a few weeks I will have yet even more yarn. I just do not have any more than what I have listed currently and quite honestly the extra skeins are not worth putting up for auction in my opinion. I will fan you MMartian and let you know when I get more yarn in ok?
Okay, thanks very much! I fanned you for your wonderful auction. I am shameless when searching for yarn--I belong to knitting for charity and beg for yarn from Freecyclers, craigslist, and anywhere else I can get it. I do the crocheting and knitting during my commute on the subway (1 hour each way) and our group makes many things that people need, laprobes for veterans, blankets and hats for preemies, burial gowns for preemies who can't stay with us so their parents don't have to go to the happy baby store to find such a garment, and separate from the group, a couple of us help support a ministry that gives shelter and clothing to homeless families. We are always looking for things to help the cause and we are all shameless about bidding on and asking for yarn. We even get people to meet us at subway stations and hand stuff over the gate so we don't have to pay extra fare and can use that money for yarn. We appreciate any opportunity to bid points, buy cheap, or just ask for, supplies. Anyway, thanks for your auctions. If one of us gets it, we will put it to good use.
