An EXCELLENT book with an EXCELLENT lesson!! I read this book many years ago when I was in Jr. High and then again when I found it a few years ago!! It is a GREAT book!! My husband teaches and this is one of the books he has taught!! As seen above there are underscores of passages. I think these pages (pictured 4th and 5th above) were among the ones badly marked. But the book is in GREAT condition otherwise! The book is 144 pages long.

There is also a companion/sequel to THE CAY-in which is not part of this auction and I do not own. It is called TIMOTHY OF THE CAY! It is also written by Theodore Taylor. I didn't get to read this book until several years ago! That is why I re-read THE CAY!!
