Hello fellow listians!!! Up for auction here is a huge lot of steampunk jewelry! It was all handmade by a close friend of mine but its just not me. I kinda stopped wearing jewelry ever since I had my son. He loves putting shiny stuff in his mouth and that is a recipe for disaster!
So what you see in the photos is what the winner of this auction will get regardless of the credit total at the close of auction. If bidding gets on up there then I will add more jewelry making stuff to this auction! My goals are to get rid of stuff around the house I dont need, earn some credits and most importantly......HAVE SOME FUN!!!!
The rules for this auction are the same as all my other auctions. If y'all have any questions please feel free to ask before placing a bid....I do not do returns or buyers remorse:-( I will only ship to listia verified addresses. If there is something I forgot to add I will just update this auction later! Time for me to chillax on the porch with my hubby and have a cold one! Cheers!

to answer your question: no it don't have to be made out of just clock pieces and gears.. to me you can use any unique looking item you want to.. I've seen it made with skeleton keys from old houses, I've got lockets made with old vintage Victorian pictures, I love it because you can let your imagination go wild and use anything that you can picture a piece being made from.. I've seen hot air ballons be used .. I was trying to figure out how to put some pictures on here but I will send you a few in a message to look at and that way you can see all the different stuff..

Wow! :-) I didn't know that.....how creative & cool:-) I love anything that makes you use your imagination.....as with everything in life (especially languages, perishable skills, etc..) "if you don't use it, you lose it." I'm sure alot of people would agree that an imagination is an awful gift to lose!

Sounds like you got all the tools you need in your toolbox to start making some great pieces! I had a great idea (or at least I thought it was)! going to estate sales at the very end & buying up the leftovers & broken items to repurpose in new steampunk statement pieces!! That was your getting 1-of-a-kind items & also, most likely, vintage items. Thats got to be the epitome of the proverbial "2 birds w/1 stone"!

Malisaliles. ...i just checked out your auctions & it looks like you probably know alot about steampunk jewelry. So....being the resident expert at the moment, I have a question for you! To be true steampunk jewelry. .... can the items only be made out of clock pieces and gears? How would you describe this new genre of jewelry to someone who knows next to nothing about it? I have more pieces I bought to add to this auction but they are at my dads & I haven't left the rehab hospital he is at in a few days. His recovery from hip surgery has been a long & arduous process so far & we still have quite a ways to go:-( the next time I go back to get clothes ill upload pics of the additions. Definitely! She actually used newspaper for the petals & did somehing to it to make it to make it stiff.....I know how to make some things stiff but not newspaper! Ha ha ha lol;-)

I make all my wrapping paper frm scratch&distress alot of newspaper w/ free bottle coffee grounds and then spray it with spray adhesive where is fantastic in a great recycling technique she's obviously extremely talented I haven't made Julia I just like to get stuff like this especially little flowers for my hair. These would be perfect to put on a clip and put in your hair oh my word I just want some of these flowers soooo bad they are goergeous.★★★ ask her if she can just make me a couple different flowers at style like four and I will get them from you on GIn and I can add the clips myself PLEASE♥♥♥♥

Oh wow!! Can I get in on this party also?? I certainly don't need any supplies...I just won a large auction of Steampunk Jewelry making items-well, my 12 year old granddaughter and I went in together on it with shared credits (we both make jewelry and auction it here on Listia) but I digress. I need to learn what all I can DO with this amazing stuff!!! I bought a book off ebay, but I need more visuals, in more "real time" not someone babbling away in a book.

So, anyone up for trading some ideas and maybe auctioning off things of which we may have redundancies? You guys were getting me stoked just reading your comments! I have tons of Vintage Jewelry, brand new glass and metal beads-most of my euro stuff prolly won't work-but I have everything else under the sun! I'm all for some ideas of what to do with this awesome new (to me) art form!!
Oh, I also have a Crikit Die Cutter machine and tons and tons of scrapbooking supplies. I'm guessing I could incorporate them into the mix somehow...
