I appreciate your questions; they're helping me to learn what is expected. The measurements are verified and I wonder if you might compare those to a jacket you already have that is a comfortable fit. I tried the jacket on and I am a 1X, so I can verify that it's an Adult Medium. Fori instance, I could get it on and zipped but it was too tight to wear it that way. I also wear a size 18 dress, so if you're a little smaller, (14-16?), it should fit. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
