Have you used one of these before? I've heard they're a lot more sensitive than the original sticks, but I was wondering if that's just because they're new.
thetoptek - there are a few different types of replacements for the N64 joysticks. The sensitive ones you're thinking about are probably the Gamecube style sticks. I have no idea how these are on sensitivity.
There are instructional videos on Youtube. If you don't have the correct screwdrivers, or the repair know-how, then this might be a tough to replace. But if you have general knowledge of taking things apart and putting them back together, then it's not that hard at all. No re-wiring or anything like that. Once you get it open and into the right spot, all you have to do is un-plug the old one then plug-in the new one.
