This would be great for my grandson. He is 8 and has destroyed 2 cameras already, but I do not like those child proof cameras.

i guess you have me at a loss as to What you mean by child proof ? this is just a standard 35mm cam it is just see through i thought it would make a good cam for a kid just would have to teach them to load the film or is that what you were refering to?

I know this is not a child proof camera I was just saying that the Fisher Price and Leap Frog cameras for kids are a waste of Money. I started my daughter out with real cameras ( her first was a Vivitar) and we are trying to do the same with my grandson, but he is harder on them than my daughter was and she is now refusing to buy him another one. If he destroys this one, too it wouldn't be a costly loss.
