This Auctions is for a Lodalite Crystal Gemstone Focal Bead with a front to back drilled hole. It measures 34 mm x 17 mm x 12 mm or approx 1 1/4" long by 3/4" by 3/8th" deep.

Are Lodalite & Phantom Quartz the same stone? I have one of these I bought as "Phantom Quartz". Was it misrepresented when I bought it? Thanks for your help! Already a fan! Watching.

No it wasn't misrepresented as long as it is mineral deposits inside the stones that were there while it was growing that create a "phantom" or ghost crystal inside the other cystal. While Lodalite is Lodalite Quartz is the name given to Quartz included with indeterminate minerals. Lodalite Quartz is also known as Seer Quartz or Shaman Quartz when cut and polished into a magnifying lens. The included minerals within Lodalite Quartz often resemble a lunar landscape. Thank you for the AWESOME Question I should have included that in the descriptions and your wonderful questions has given me the chance to be more specific. There are several different Crystals in different types of inclusions that can get confusing but I as long as you are happy they two distinctly different stones and so without seeing it I have to say no I don't think it was misrepresented. I hope I answered that well enough for you but Please feel free to keep at me if I left something out. Thank you Again, for another wonderful compliment. Just want to make sure that you see that it is an actual focal bead. It is drilled with a front to back hole which will make it a beautiful pendant so that you can wear the beauty and have the attributes with you at all times. I do have a few "specimen" pieces up right now in the forms of Sphere's, Pyramids, and tumbled stones. I wanted to make sure you knew that this one has a use other than just setting it somewhere to look pretty and help out from where it is but has function as well. Hey I love different perspectives. When I first read your comment I had to really think about it and I have never actually seen an olive shell. I have eaten them out of a can and used Olive oil of numerous things but I have never that I can think of seen an Olive shell. I thank you for sharing your wonderful perspective with us.
