Well, I measured them w/a ruler- Cuz thats all I have. (I wish I had one of those cool gauge sizing thangs.) And it measured 2mm=12g. Correct? It does look alot bigger tho- b/c I more than triple checked my measurements! Lol. I guess its just tha angle or b/c its metal...?

Depends on your ears and how long you've had them pierced. Just started right now with 14g but people with newly pierced but healed or sensitivities ears might want to start with 16g
