For all you baby doll / reborn doll collectors out there - you're going to love two of my newest auctions!

This listing is for 'Ellie', the bright-eyed toddler girl doll - She's sunshine & sweetness! Fully reborn (not by me!), Ellie is approximately 24 inches head to toe, weighted to about 5 lbs (wears size 0-3 / 3-6 and some 6-9 months real baby clothing! ) and has vinyl head, hands-to-wrist and feet-to-ankles; the rest of her is a weighted cloth body. Her hair is a braided, synthetic wig and permanently styled as shown (cannot be changed without ruining the wig). She has a soft, pinkish/peach natural looking toddler complexion and is soft and squeezable; you'll never want to put her down. She does have two minor flaws; one ankle is discolored to a brighter pink (see pic) and second flaw is it appears her cloth body was re-sewn at some point and was a bit roughly done along the back seam; you don't see this when she's dressed anyway but wanted to mention it! She comes with the clothing/diaper and stuffed animal as shown in the last photo. She does NOT come with infant swing/seat/crib etc - those are strictly photo props. =) This little toddler is absolutely adorable - Enjoy!

Her nails are done, yes. She does not have drawn on eyebrows but the vinyl itself has a defined brow. Someone could certainly add eyebrows - though, I would suggest going very light on it as a thick or poorly done eyebrow can change the whole look of a doll which is why I never attempted it myself; liked her as she was =)

How is the wig secured? Is it secured enough that you wouldn't have to worry about it easily coming off? Thanks. I really would love to have this lovely baby!

Not sure what kind of glue was used to secure it but it's firmly on. This particular wig cannot be brushed (it's permanently styled) so I can't imagine anything that would be done that would pull the wig off; it's firmly attached =)

Personally, I don't know of any stores that sell them BUT that doesn't mean it's not possible there are some that do. Ebay is where I've seen the majority of them; hundreds available most of the time with varying price range from $100 up to $1000 depending on the artist and specifics of the doll. =)

Thank you- that was my Mickey. He passed away in July, at the age of 16 years old. He had a blockage and I had to have him put down- he was a wonderful boy and I miss him terribly! :(

=) Reborns are artist dolls so no two are completely alike... I am pretty sure she was originally purchased on Ebay as that is where the majority of my reborns have come from. Can't offer to sell you this one as she already has bidders on her... You could purchase credits from Listia to try to win her that way but that would cost you quite a bit. Another option would be to save some of the photos of her and find yourself a reborn artist who will create custom dolls and see if they are willing to try to get as close as possible to making one similar to her... =)

She isn't an Ashton Drake =)...their dolls are actual mass produced. They are cute but I'd highly recommend if someone is going to buy a reborn that they buy from an individual artist with very good feedback on Ebay...they are generally much better quality than the mass produced dolls which don't look quite the same as their artist rendering photos =)
