I've had this for years and know nothing about it.. I googled sleeping lion heart and it said it is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It first appeared in Final Fantasy VIII.

It is the necklace of Squall, a character in Final Fantasy 8. These are pretty hard to find. I'd bid but I don't have enough points right now, good luck!
