Garnet is a January birthstone but is also said to be a ring of love. It was rumored that Don Juan wore a garnet.

Metal : 925 Silver (stamped 925) with Rhodium plating. - I'm told that Rhodium Plating is the same plating used on white gold to make it look white but here it's it’s plated over silver. To enhance the whiteness, almost all white gold is plated with rhodium, a shiny, white metal which is extremely hard. Depending on the amount of wear to a piece of jewelry, over time this rhodium plating always eventually wears off, revealing the original metal color under which is why all white gold rings have to be re-dipped eventually. Re-dipping is a simple process that can be done to restore your jewelry's whiteness if needed; however, if what you have under the rhodium is Silver, I'd think you'd be home free.

This is beautiful, and it is my birthstone. I've been looking for one that isn't too "frilly" and this is perfect! Wound you consider a GIN for it? F&W~

Sorry but I don't know what a GIN is?

That's okay, GIN is for "Get It Now' which is an amount you set for the person to just pay the credits and get it outright for the amount you've set vs bidding through an auction. It looks like newbies like us don't have access to that right away. I was just excited and didn't catch that you were still new! ;)
