you can play some games with it. I have seen my husband play like Guitar hero on it by using the regular buttons.

I've had one of these remotes. It is not blue tooth so it does require a usb dongle that you plug into the ps3.

This is my husbands so I do not know anything about it. I ask him the questions when I get comments on this item. All he told me is that it connects like the controllers do. I also just asked him about the USB thing and he said it does have one.
