I dont use itunes so im not completely sure but, the back of the card reads..."Download your itunes content to any Mac or PC. Sync games and apps to your iphone or ipod touch and music, videos, and more to your iphone, ipod, or apple tv." I hope this helps you.

If you make sure you only buy songs that are 1.29 (because those are unprotected) and have software that will convert them to MP3, you can put that music on a non-Apple MP3 device. If you buy the .99 songs, they are protected and cannot be converted because of DRM and since they are in AAC format, they may not work on other MP3 players. Hope this helps!
