i won a ring on here for 7,050 and shipped it winning bid 499 and someone is winning a ring for 499 + shipping which I won on here for 25,050,, so I don't feel charging actual shipping cost is to high, if they fit me ok I would have kept them but arthritis plays an important factor on which finger I could have worn them on

So Many new users just can't get their heads around the free shipping theory and that is how you make it on Listia. I usually hit the free shipping only button but sometimes forget and usually take a peak but since I ship free (old school listian) Its hard to part with money. Nice item though.

as someone pointed out, I believe you would get a whole lot more credits if it was free shipping. The only reason I sell on listia is to turn around and spend the credits on sterling. I would have bid 20-30k. But I don't use pay pal, and I don't send cash in the mail, so I have to pass on this one. I don't harbor any I'll will to those who charge for shipping. But that's 1 less person auction I can bid on. I do get what you are saying though
