OK--everyone knows Mystery Science is a meant to be outrageously funny on purpose, right. There are fake "movie reviewer"s watching the movie along with you and are making comments out loud along with the movie, and actors dialog that you are hearing that is hilarious, as they complain and make random, dumb comments about the nutty movie--which is an actual real movie playing --Things cut in which are inappropriate and unrelated that have you in stitches as you watch this bizzare science picture that must have bombed at the boxoffice
!Because MST3k is sort of a show within a show within a movie, I think you need to look at the individual parts in order to rate the program.

The movie: I mean movies. Because there are about 5 unrelated movies going on at the same time. (To make things even worse (or better), there are even different and unrelated movies playing during the credits!). Eventually they all tie into an off the wall ET rip-off involving a boy with the strangest voice befriending Trumpy the magical... something. This movie is my favorite type: So bad and stupid it is funny.

The Host Segments: Contains one of my favorites when Joel and the bots do their interpretation of a scene (and words) from the movie. I also loved "Hearts of Space" segment. The rest are pretty good and I loved Dr. Forrestor's introduction of the movie.
