The listing, ~ 5 MORE "WILDCRAFTED" PAULOWNIA SEEDS---ALSO KNOW AS "PRINCESS TREE" ~ has ended.

5 seeds of THE most gorgeous tree---Paulownia Tree. I "wildcrafted" these seeds in my neighborhood here in Berkeley, Ca. These trees grow 10 to 12 ft. a year and sometimes more. Please google planting directions! They need a little light to germinate folks! These are very ecological trees because they suck a lot of pollution out of the air because of their big broad leaves. The blossoms also have a wonderful scent ! Just a really beautiful tree! I believe they originated in China.Happy bidding!

FYI "the Paulownia i.e., kiri was the most popular of Japanese crest motifs".Source and quote from The Elements Of Japanese Design by John W. Dower p68-9.Article also mentions that the Paulownia crest was right up there with the crest of the royal family of Japans crest--- the chrysthantemum crest.I used to see this crest on my antique silk kimonos when I used to have my collection. I knew this tree from a past lifetime!

Hi there lunellablu2011---well I called someone from an online company for the Paulownia Tree and they told me it was "out of zone" so I take that to be a no answer-- you cannot plant it in Long Island,NY.
