Let health professionals know your emergency status at a glance with The Apex® medical alert necklace which can help to save your life in an emergency situation. This simple chain and pendant is comfortable to wear on a regular basis without drawing attention to your condition unless in an emergency situation. The back is blank and engraveable. Include additional information about you and contact information on the Emergency Identification card that is included.

* 24" Hypoallergenic chain
* Official medical emergency symbol
* Made in USA

Sorry, no GINs on this one. It's $8.77 + shipping, ordering on their website, making them over $13.00!

► Shazam! Be sure to check my other listings by clicking on the photo of my face.

► I start all my listings at 24 credits! It doesn't represent the quality. I just think it's more fun to start bidding low and watch it go high (even if it does make me bite my nails at times!) like being at an actual auction.

► Ships FREE in the USA from a non-smoking home. Exact cost to Canada or Worldwide. PLEASE ASK cost *before* bidding out of USA. By bidding, you are AGREEING to no buyer's remorse on shipping cost! Please confirm your purchase within two days of winning. If you reply immediately, I'll toss in a FREEBIE, too!

► Have a question? Ask away! Please look at my feedback.

► All Listia rules and procedures apply. If you don't know what they are, please check out this link and read the full page BEFORE BIDDING: http://www.listia.com/rules ► If you don't follow the rules, I get to keep your credits and the item. Good incentive to read them, right?
Questions & Comments

Still a great auction even with all the shipping comments, I am not sure how folks are missing the free shipping part.. I do have a question, will you be putting up any medical alert bracelets in the future?

Yay! A question about something else! Hallelujah! Yes, I was able to nab just a few of the bracelets. Not many - I think I only have two or three, and I'm not sure if they're the generic blank ones like this or the Diabetic ones. I'll have to check tomorrow. As for me, I've had a long day and I'm about to fall over and collapse. Time to hit the hay. Have a great night, hun! ✰

Question to jjheyhey, can you not read? This lady has answered your questions not once but 3 times. I will try to help and answer it again. THE ITEM IS FREE. THE SHIPPING IS FREE. The winner will need to PAY IF YOU WANT IT PERSONALIZED. THE SHIPPING IS FREE ONLY IF YOU LIVE IN AMERICA! AND, if you live CLOSE BY, you can pick it up in PERSON!
I'm sorry, starbaby. I just have a problem with difficult people. Go ahead and hide this. It's OK. I just had to get it out.

*sigh* It is just a little frustrating when people do not read the description details. I am sorry if this comes across as rude but honestly if people cannot see the 3 SEPARATE PLACES where shipping details are CLEARLY stated, then they need to go back to school and learn to read. Shipping details are clearly posted on the right side, under the location St. Petersburg, IN BRIGHT ORANGE LETTERS, then again in the description and then AGAIN A THIRD TIME IN THE NOTES/COMMENTS. When you are a busy person, (and I know you are starbaby) it is time consuming to have to come back here and answer questions that are clearly answered in the details and description.

Thank you, purplesmurple. I appreciate it. I really wish we could just get back to the actual auction at this point, though.

Hey, I have an idea... How's about some comments on that Apex ALERT Med Emergency Silver Necklace with the Wallet Card? Yeah, baby!

Well, Listia isn't a bid on a pic site. There's info there, both in the Listia supplied area, and the seller area, for a reason.

Thank you! The last one was specifically for Diabetics. This one is personalizable for anything - heart conditions, being on blood thinners, being on specific medications that interact badly with others, having metal implants, or other things doctors may need to know before performing emergency testing on you. ✰

I hate to go backward, but is it free shipping within the US?
Aug 7th, 2014 at 8:42:08 PM PDT by
Original
I'm not understanding the "I hate to go backwards". Personally, I hate to answer the same question three times, when it's in the auction description, in Listia's Delivery Details, and has been answered in another question. Please read the auction, and the answers to other questions. Thank you. ✰

If you'll read the comments from the oldest to the newest, I was very kind, initially, as I am on all of my auctions. But when someone asks the exact same question, and Listia has a specific spot for shipping cost to the USA, that is in the *exact same place* on every single auction on this site, it sort of makes a seller crazy after a while. I'm not even talking about what I've included in my description, I'm talking about the Delivery Details with the little logo of a truck, which says Free Shipping in the USA, in glowing, bright orange. So, that information is there before anyone reads a thing I've written, besides the title of the auction.
The point is, if someone is on an auction site and is doing their bidding only by photographs, well, I feel sorry for them. Personally, I would never buy anything without knowing what it is, its condition, its size, and other questions which are pertinent to the auction item. I don't feel I've been rude when I've supplied the information requested multiple times, but people have been too lazy to read.
I appreciate your compliment on my auction, and thank you for that. If you'll look at my other auctions, where I'm not asked to answer questions like I was from the two people here, I am not rude in the slightest. I'm always incredibly friendly, and I have a LOT of friends on Listia because of that. Notice I didn't say fans. I have met a lot of true FRIENDS through Listia, and quite a few of them have commented on this auction. If you think my actions have been mean, well, all I can say is that is something you have to deal with. I know I am a nice person. I am a nice person even when people push my buttons, but I respond in an appropriate, business-like manner. But after a while, it just gets ridiculous. Even then, I am not mean. I just tell the person what I don't like and tell them to read the auction again. Have a wonderful evening.

Well, it's been four hours and haven't had a reaction at all inside. I have to go out in the heat to the grocery store later, and I'll see if there's any reaction with a little sweat. I'm really shocked. I was sort of expecting a little reaction, because my skin is really sensitive, but nothing at all. I took one for the team. ;-)

StarBaby Some ppl are just idiots. No wonder they need the medic braclet. To warn medics that they're dumbasses. Lol
I gottw ask to b sure, is the necklace made with ANY alloy? To your knowledge? I'm highly allergic. Not typical allergy. Some people just have a small reaction skin turns funny colors. But alloy makes my throat and face swell. I've been looking for one of these on here, for my epilepsy and my allergies . I'm hoping I can get this one. :-)
Aug 11th, 2014 at 11:42:18 PM PDT by
Original
LOL!

In answer to your question, jewelry has to be made with *some* alloy, or you wouldn't be able to wear it. It'd be too soft and fall apart. I'm like you. If it isn't almost all gold or sterling, I break out in all sorts of nasty bumps, welts, and swelling. All I can tell you is that it says "hypoallergenic". Tell you what I'll do though. Since I am going to start making custom beaded versions of these, I will take one out of its package (not this one - another one) and wear it today, so I can tell you honestly what happens. Sound good? The worst that'll happen will be some Benedryl on the menu for me. ✰

BLESS U for a fantastic item I apparently was GUIDED to and Even should already wear ~ this time believe I'll put it on my "FILING CABINET" that's my nickname for my prosthetic ANKLE! If you have 1 listed specifically for Diabetics, please shoot me a link and I'll get out of the way of others on this1. I'll F/W/B etc!

Good name! I will be listing another specifically for diabetes. I just had one close last week. It was the first one I had up. If you'd like to take a look at it, just copy this link and paste it in your browser: http://www.listia.com/auction/18459318-are-you-diabetic-apex-alert-medical-card

I'll probably be listing that one towards mid-month. I'm trying to space my auctions out a little bit right now because I'm low on funds for shipping until Mid September, so I can't list as many auctions as I'd like. I'll be glad to send a link to you when I get it up though, if you'd like. In the mean time, check out the one that closed, so you can see it. It'll be the exact same one. Thanks, and good luck! ✰

Thanks a million! Hey and I have one other question, if I was to win, and I wanted it personalized , can I use credit to pay for the personalization? Is that a possibility? :-)
Aug 12th, 2014 at 1:17:17 PM PDT by
Original
To back up for a moment, I just took my dog for a walk in the 88 degree humid Florida sun, and still no reaction. Personally, given my normal reactions to jewelry with high nickel or copper content, that *really* means hypoallergenic!

What did you mean by personalization? If it's engraving, I don't currently do that, but I am going to start doing metal stamping again next month. My tools were lost in a move, and have to be replaced. If by personalized, you mean with colors, like in how I said I was going to create personalized colors with beads and/or semi-precious gems in upcoming auctions, yes and no. I don't mean to be ambiguous, but I can't change the terms of an auction, mid-auction. Send me a regular message off of this auction and tell me what you were thinking of? If, for some reason you don't know how to do that, look on my profile page, and in the information box under my photo, you see a "contact starbabyOnline1" link.

Oops. Ok. My bad hun. Someone made a comment about if you want it personalized and you pay . Lol when they were all getting on that one person for asking the price of shipping over n over n over again . Now I feel like just as big an ass as they were being. Sorry about that :-)
Aug 12th, 2014 at 3:08:42 PM PDT by
Original
Oh, please don't feel that way. That comment was a little confusing. I'm actually thinking of getting an inexpensive engraver and have been pricing them, but again, that won't be until mid-September. I keep hoping the person I got these from would run into more of them for me! Don't worry about it.

By the way, I realized I made a mistake in an answer to you when I said "given my normal reactions to jewelry with high nickel or copper content", I of course meant *given my normal reactions to jewelry with LOW nickel or copper content. Sigh. We're even. LOL.

Very cool! There's a LOT of Tampa Bay people on Listia and especially a lot of Pinellas County people. I do an awful lot of local deals and have met so many wonderful people!

As for the amount of credits? Well, I start every single listing at 24 credits. It's all up to everyone else where the item goes from there. :-)

Aug 3rd, 2014 at 6:33:32 PM PDT by

Sorry, I do not understand your question. The only thing I understood is "Is this free", and yes, because this is Listia, it is free, as long as you have the credits to bid on it. If you would rephrase the rest of your question, I'd be glad to answer it.
