Description

The listing, Doctor Who - The King's Demons has ended.

From the Doctor Who Library, No 108 - Based on the Television Show

It is 4 March, 1215, and the TARDIS materializes in England during a jousting match held in the presence of King John.

But it soon becomes apparent to the Doctor that something is very seriously wrong. Why does John express no fear or surprise at the time-traveler's sudden appearance, and indeed welcome them as the King's Demons? And what is the true identity of Sir Gilles, the King's Champion?

Very soon the Doctor finds himself involved in a fiendish plan to alter the course of world history by one of his oldest and deadliest enemies.

Obviously this is a stock photo. I can assure you that ALL of the books from my own personal library (of well over 1000 books) are in near pristine condition. While they have all been read, some several times, they are all well taken care of with no rips, tears or stains. While I do not smoke, I will not guarantee the environment in which they lived before they came to be with me. This particular paperback book is in VERY GOOD condition.

Shipping is for Media Mail and will be combined if more than one book is won. I do ask that you tell me you are bidding (or planning on bidding) on more than one of my items.

Good luck and thanks for looking!

Which Doctor's era is this from? I've heard of it, but I'm not sure which one was in it. Fifth? Fourth? Sixth?

I love the Doctor Who TV series, but I've actually never read this book. I did do a search, though, and came up with this:

So it would seem this is the Fifth Doctor. Good luck if you bid :)

David Tennant was much better than Eccleston. Eccleston was fine, but Tennant a lot better. Matt Smith was awesome, as well. I can't wait for Peter Capaldi. He's going to be great.

Really? I watched the first couple of episodes he (Tennant) was in, but I think he just reminded me too much of Davy Jones! lol :)

Of the original series, there were two that I really liked - Peter Davison was one - but I think Tom Baker was my favorite :)

Of the new series, I quit watching when Christopher Eccleston left - I liked him - but I may have to go back and watch all the ones I missed.

Of the classics, nothing can beat Tom Baker. He was hysterical. I also liked Sylvester McCoy.
