WOW! This was my Grandmother's who is currently 94 Years Young. She gave it to me along with a bunch of Old and very Vintage Antique Jewelry. She said my Grandfather bought her this pin at a Naval Base in Europe in 1942, right about the start of WW2. He told her it came from a Very Up-Scale and Pricey Jewelry and Antique / Vintage Jewelry Store. Actually this pin might even be much older than 1942, he couldn't remember, but he said it cost what a fully dressed out Navy Uniform and that took up almost four weeks of Navy pay, so a lot. It's beautiful made of gold tone metal and has NO TURNING color of the very nice finish. The crystals are just perfect, I'm almost positive it's made of Quartz crystal, but not positive of that. It's about 3/4" inches long and a little over 1' inch wide. It just shimmers and she said every time she wore it she got a lot of great complements.
