These are heirloom seeds passed down from generation..really neat plants that not only grow a plant but fruits you pick, place in a bowl and smell up your home with a nice pleasant aroma with no need of melting wax melts or burning candles! Also known as Queen Annes Pocket Melons..this very fragrant white fleshed, long established heirloom variety has quite small apple sized fruits..they have yellow and orange redish striped skin..can grow like I do in a pot on my porch/patio or can grow in your garden. grows like a cucumber plant and vines. When growing in a pot as I do, use a stick or trellis for them to vine on or simply let them vine down onto the ground. If planting in a garden, sow them when soil is warm in raised hills or rows like you do with cucumbers, thin to 3 plants per hill 3 ft apart or 1 plant per hill. You can also start them indoors then move outdoors.
