Description

The listing, 1865 Mourning Announcement-England has ended.

Part of my mourning collection I am parting out. Most will go on ebay, but thought I would offer a few pieces to Listians, as for most of us, points come easier than money these days. This is a mourning announcement From a John Bryant who was born in 1803 and died in 1865, just 4 months after the end of the civil war. This is part of a larger mourning album with over 60 cards dating from 1865 to 1906. Most of these are from England and it appears through research that John live in Box cottage, Cheddon Fitzpaine in Taunton county, Somerset England. The back is blank, and It appears through other family members that John is interred at Kensal Green in England.
