This is a really old hinged box from Japan.
Original label on bottom.
The design is in the porcelain so this might be the old form of wireless cloisonne but not sure so you decide.
Silver plate has some discoloration on sides and bottom. Also rust on bottom.
Inside very clean.
Porcelain excellent!
