I have looked everywhere for a stamp, f there is one it is under the wire wraps or has worn away. As I have had this since I purchased it new in the 80's, I have always known it was silver. It has patina and has tarnished like silver, and if I put some time in I could make it shine like crazy again, but because of the age and the leather being in such good shape, I mostly polish only to clean off major tarnish when it builds up. I think it looks better with the patina too. To be honest, it has never occurred to me to question its authenticity.
But my rocker days are long gone and I thought it was time to pass it along. :-)
